THREE STEPS TO YOUR ROOM

Let’s get you talking.

  1. 01

    Get your invitation.

Ask the administrator for an account invitation. Register in the client you plan to use. Once the administrator allows lobby access, click Join lobby—no second invitation is needed.

  2. 02

    Install. Open. Join.

Run the installer, then open Sloppy Voice from the Start menu. It connects to chat.sloppyvoice.com automatically.

  3. 03

    Make PTT yours.

Open PTT settings, record a key, mouse button or joystick button, release it, then save. Join voice when you’re ready.

Prefer your browser?

Open the web app. Push-to-talk works while the page has focus.

What to expect from this alpha

This is the Windows x64 testing build, targeting Windows 11. It needs an internet connection and a microphone for voice. The installer runs for your user account and adds a Start menu entry.

Close the app before installing an update. Normal updates and uninstall keep device keys and settings. Updates are installed manually.

One account, one registered device — for now

Linked-device sign-in and recovery are still in development. An account registered in a browser cannot yet be linked to a new desktop client. Keep the original device’s data; losing its keys can mean losing encrypted history.

Physical mouse, joystick and in-game PTT testing is still required before this build leaves testing.
